Through scenario-based learning, learners develop the confidence to assess situations, make informed decisions and respond professionally while maintaining their own personal safety.

Participants are assessed dynamically throughout the course through practical exercises, realistic scenarios, instructor observation and group discussion.
Where appropriate, learners will also complete short quizzes and knowledge checks to reinforce understanding and confirm learning.
Assessment is carried out by a qualified Skills Shop instructor who holds recognised teaching and assessing qualifications together with relevant occupational competence and practical experience in conflict management. This continuous assessment approach allows participants to demonstrate both their knowledge and communication skills throughout the course.
Successful participants will receive a Skills Shop Conflict Management certificate. We recommend refresher training every three years, or sooner where workplace risks, organisational procedures or job roles change significantly.
Skills Shop certificates are issued in-house rather than through an external awarding organisation. This allows us to invest in experienced instructors, practical workplace scenarios and high-quality learning resources rather than annual accreditation fees.
