Anyone can be affected by a mental health condition, whatever job role they are in. By attending our First Aid for Mental Health training course, this encourages a positive response to learning about mental health, as well as building awareness and understanding of certain mental health conditions.
This Level 2 training course can be taken either in-person, in areas such as Manchester, Liverpool, Carlisle or further. The First Aid for Mental Health training course lasts 1 day in total and covers topics such as recognising, supporting and promoting mental wellbeing in the workplace. As well as this, staff will also learn vital skills such as first response support when dealing with stress, depression and other mental health conditions.
All our First Aid for Mental Health training comes with continuous support so even after completing the course, Skills Shop are always here to offer peace of mind and answer any questions staff members may have.
Our First Aid for Mental Health training course can be taken in-person, across plenty of North West locations. CADAS was founded in 1979 by a group of concerned individuals and professionals who wanted to provide a service for the people of Cumbria who suffered from the effects of alcohol and drugs.
It was registered as a charity in the same year. Over the last 40+ years we have grown to our current size with staff and volunteers operating from four centres across Cumbria.
We continue to provide our recovery service to individuals and offer help to families, communities and employers with training and information provision. We believe that our major strengths are our independence, our commitment to people and communities, our inclusive approach and our accessibility.
If you are ready for change, we can help to bring it about with you for you, and your family and friends, and your community.
